Key Responsibilities

•Supervise and oversee a team of structural drafters to ensure accurate and timely completion of all fabrication projects within the EPCI industry
•Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and client requirements, providing guidance and expertise to the team for the preparation of detailed structural design drawings
•Collaborate with the engineering team, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project objectives, scope, and priorities, ensuring all drafting activities align with project requirements
•Conduct regular quality control checks to verify compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of drawings
•Mentor and coach team members, providing technical guidance, feedback, and training to develop their skills and productivity

Key Requirements

•Minimum High School Diploma, with either a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering or a related field and 3 years of experience; or a minimum of 7 years of experience working as a Structural Drafter or similar role within the EPCI industry, preferably with hands-on experience supervising a team
•Strong proficiency in 3D Tekla and 2D AutoCAD/Microstation structural drafting, modeling, and drawing extraction
•Extensive knowledge of industry codes and standards for structural design, such as API, AISC, ACI, and ASCE
•Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements accurately
•Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders at all levels
