Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years post-degree experience designing and analyzing high-pressure natural gas compressor systems.
  • •Knowledge of core thermodynamic principles and natural gas compression equipment mechanical design (reciprocating engines, gas turbines, motor drives, reciprocating and centrifugal compressors).
  • •Working knowledge of compressor station layout and associated compression-process components.
  • •Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards, including 49 CFR Part 192 and ASME B31.8 (plus others such as API, NACE, NEC, OSHA).
  • •Ability to read/interpret mechanical, civil/structural, and electrical schematics and drawings; proficiency with Word and Excel.
