Job Summary

Evaluate and improve the scalability, resiliency, performance, and security of production systems. Support uptime through an On-Call rotation with monitoring and alerting tied to SLOs/SLAs, run Disaster Recovery drills, and lead incident management with post-mortems and root-cause analysis. Design and deploy reliable solutions, automate failure mitigation, and build tools for infrastructure visibility while partnering cross-functionally with Developers, Ops, and Security.

Key Responsibilities

•Evaluate scalability, resiliency, performance, and security properties of production environments and improve reliability outcomes.
•Ensure uptime through monitoring and alerting aligned to internal SLOs and customer-facing SLAs, supported by an On-Call rotation.
•Run Disaster Recovery drills and design/test high availability and disaster recovery measures to improve reliability and velocity.
•Lead incident management by investigating incidents, implementing remediation strategies, and learning from past incidents via post-mortems and root cause analysis.
•Improve operational efficiency by identifying failure points and automating repetitive, resource-intensive tasks; build tools and automated platforms for infrastructure visibility.
