Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage large projects for key clients across the full project cycle from design through close-out and commissioning.
  • •Serve as project manager for projects involving multiple service lines and align client expectations for goals, budget, and schedules.
  • •Own project accounting responsibilities including budget monitoring, profitability, contract negotiations, and timely client issue resolution.
  • •Maintain accountability for a portfolio of clients, including client satisfaction and repeat business growth.
  • •Lead designs for building technology systems and coordinate/integrate these systems with other intelligent building systems; delegate work and mentor staff/project leaders.

Key Requirements

  • •Four-year engineering (or higher) degree or equivalent education/training and related experience in building technology systems design, including structured cabling systems and AV/electronic safety and security.
  • •10+ years designing high-end building technology systems for the architectural and electrical consulting industry.
  • •At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory and project management capacity.
  • •Experience across project types including healthcare, science and technology, federal, high-rise commercial office, hospitality, educational, data centers, and outside plant infrastructure.
  • •Design experience with integrated intelligent building systems for smart buildings; excellent verbal and written client-facing communication; AutoCAD and Revit desired.
