Job Summary

Lead lifecycle project delivery for Power & Energy transmission and distribution programs, including transmission lines, substations, and communications infrastructure with a focus on SCADA and telecom. Manage moderate-size, multi-project portfolios across proposal, execution, reporting, and closeout—owning CPM schedules, technical quality, safety, risk, and financial performance. Partner with clients and direct multidisciplinary teams to ensure audit-ready governance, executive reporting, and consistent delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of multiple concurrent transmission line and substation projects.
•Provide senior-level oversight for scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, risk, procurement, construction readiness, commissioning, and project closeout.
•Serve as primary accountability for project delivery by identifying issues, driving decisions, escalating risks, and ensuring alignment with client and WSP standards.
•Develop and communicate integrated project schedules, cost forecasts, performance metrics, and executive-level reporting.
•Manage project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, earned value analysis, change management, invoice review, cost control, and margin protection.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent education and directly relevant experience).
•10+ years of relevant post-education experience with significant project management responsibility in Power Delivery, transmission, substation, utility, or related infrastructure.
•Experience managing medium to large, complex transmission line and/or substation projects for electric utility clients.
•Ability to lead multiple concurrent projects or a portfolio with accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, risk, client satisfaction, and delivery performance.
•Advanced understanding of utility project delivery and project controls (including CPM schedule management, cost forecasting, earned value, change/risk management, and invoice/cost control).
