Job Summary

Serve as a Retail Personal Banker I in a Financial Center, using a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to identify customer needs, cross-sell products, and set appointments using approved marketing tools. Process teller transactions and support platform staff work. Build relationships with business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, Investment), guide CSRs on referrals, meet goals tied to customer experience and production, and maintain risk, confidentiality, and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions using the company value proposition.
•Use CAMP and approved marketing tools to proactively reach out and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and conduct outside sales activities, including membership presentations, business sales calls, and community financial literacy events.
•Process teller transactions and participate in retail product opening/servicing and the consumer loan and bankcard process from application through closing.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry (preferred).
•Demonstrated comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumer households and small business customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Must demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through NMLS.
