Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain, improve, and own detection engineering systems, including building agentic triage with security response automation.
  • •Perform investigations and contribute to security incident response across a range of incident types.
  • •Contribute to, maintain, and operate identity and access management systems.
  • •Grow across multiple security domains and engage on adjacent security projects such as appsec, infrasec, governance, and privacy.
  • •Research and respond to emerging threats relevant to Sentry’s application, cloud environment, and agentic product features.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of industry experience in detection & response, corporate security, or generalist security engineering.
  • •Degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent training/professional experience).
  • •Hands-on experience with alert triage, detection tuning and writing, detection-as-code, security log ingestion, investigations/incident response, and identity & access management (IAM).
  • •Programming experience in at least one language (Python preferred) and comfort with agentic development workflows.
  • •Experience with distributed cloud technologies (AWS, CI/CD, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform) and defensive security tooling (EDR, SIEM, CNAPP, ZTNA).
