Job Summary

Govern and oversee financial reporting and internal controls for LyondellBasell’s Indonesia manufacturing sites and commercial entity. Ensure compliance with US GAAP/IFRS and local GAAP, review GL/TB and journal entries, and support statutory reporting and audits. Manage governance for balance sheet review, accruals, inventory valuation, taxes, VAT/GST, transfer pricing support, cash flow forecasting, and ESG reporting as needed, while coordinating with AP/AR, fixed assets, and corporate teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide governance of financial reporting and internal controls for Indonesia manufacturing sites and the commercial entity, ensuring compliance with Corporate Accounting Policies (US GAAP and IFRS) and local GAAP.
•Review postings, adjustments, GL/TB, manual journal entries, and key reporting areas (revenue, cost of sales, margins, accruals, ageing items, inventory valuation, and asset/liability balances).
•Prepare and/or review local GAAP postings and adjustments for statutory financial statements, including reconciliations between US GAAP/IFRS/statutory GAAP differences.
•Support audits by coordinating with AP, AR, inventory accounting, fixed asset accounting, and general accounting, including reviewing audit adjustments and management reports and leading automation initiatives when required.
•Oversee legal entity governance and compliance activities such as balance sheet/flux analysis, VAT/GST and withholding review, CIT return support, transfer pricing studies input, cash flow forecasting, dividend distribution advice/coordination, and representation letter signoff.

Key Requirements

•More than 7 years of relevant work experience with exposure to US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP across a variety of topics.
•Experience with internal controls and SOX/404 requirements, including performing preventative/detective oversight and maintaining control evidence.
•Professional qualifications in CPA/CA or equivalent (desirable).
•University degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline.
•Strong spoken and written business English, with good interpersonal and communication skills.
