Job Summary

Join Cisco's Global Supplier Management team as a Supplier Commodity Manager for High Speed Optic Transceivers in a hybrid role. You will own the commodity strategy, manage supplier relationships across cross-functional teams (Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, Legal), and drive data-driven decisions. You’ll lead quarterly negotiations, monitor inventory and risk, and influence investments to meet Cisco’s future requirements while ensuring cost, quality, and delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities

•Responsible and accountable for the Commodity Strategy and the Supply-base executing and enabling it.
•Responsible and accountable for all aspects of supplier relationship management including all technical, commercial, delivery, and quality while working across partner supply chain organizations like Technology & Quality, Manufacturing, and Product Operations.
•Working closely with Global planning and fulfillment teams to track inventory, CT2R, and ensure continuity of supply. This includes lead time management, Strategic Inventory Planning, Sophisticated purchase proposals and such.
•Driving quarterly negotiations of component cost and lead-times.
•Performance Management: Executive Escalations / Resolutions, Scorecards / Business Reviews on Cost, Quality, Delivery, Technology, and Partnership.

Key Requirements

•7+ years of cross functional Supply Chain experience in Commodity Management.
•Excellent skills in supplier management along with extensive experience in drafting and negotiating sophisticated commercial contracts.
•Excellent skills in data analytics and reporting and ability to develop and execute short-, mid-, and long-term strategies.
•Adept at influencing decisions and developing solutions to sophisticated business situations.
•Strong experience with collaboration, communications, negotiations, facilitation and change management.
