Key Responsibilities

  • •Utilise CVD synthesis reactors and analytical equipment to synthesise, characterise, and process diamond materials.
  • •Develop and apply techniques to enhance manufacturing capabilities such as polishing and shaping.
  • •Design and execute work packages, analyse data, and inform onward innovation.
  • •Invent and patent new CVD growth and processing methods toward novel diamond products and solutions.
  • •Develop value-add processes (e.g., treatments, brazing, metallisation, ion implantation, mounting) and collaborate with partners on materials and application development and testing.

Key Requirements

  • •Undergraduate degree in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a relevant Engineering subject.
  • •Ability to complete practical laboratory work safely and systematically with attention to detail.
  • •Willingness to learn quickly and apply new skills and techniques to solve novel problems.
  • •Strong analytical skills for data capture and interpretation.
  • •Good interpersonal and presentational skills, able to work effectively as part of a team.
