Job Summary

Develop turnkey design-build and energy performance contracting (ESPC) projects by supporting acquisition and development for energy savings work. Own HVAC system and solution development, help define scope and milestone plans, and partner with Energy Engineers to quantify savings. Assist with budgets, RFQs, permitting/bonding input, and proposal support while managing design documents through construction. Validate processes and transition secured customers from development to project handoff.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop HVAC systems and solutions using Trane equipment/controls and other leading HVAC systems, including scoping, concept development, engineering analysis, and validation.
•Support account managers with installation budgets and RFQ preparation, including scope statements, milestone dates, specs, and permitting/bonding inputs.
•Provide technical support for Trane business acquisition, participating on strategic job acquisition teams.
•Manage design work from conceptual site plans and preliminary engineering through construction documents.
•Validate the Design-Build Turnkey and ESPC processes and identify improvements; support acquisition and customer satisfaction; assist with project transition.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Four-year degree in engineering or a technical field, business, or equivalent experience.
•Working knowledge of cost and savings studies using energy conservation measures (ECMs).
•Working knowledge of energy rebate programs, utility tariffs, and utility bill analysis.
•Ability to audit mechanical/building systems and recommend improvements.
•Project management and performance contracting/ESCO experience; proficiency with HVAC controls/system-level documentation (e.g., sequence of operations) and design software such as Visio and AutoCAD.
