Key Responsibilities

  • •Review work orders and prepare tools, equipment, time, parts, and supplies; create work orders in SAP and respond quickly to emergency calls.
  • •Read and interpret technical documents (blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals) to diagnose and repair complex electrical and mechanical issues.
  • •Monitor machinery during operation, perform troubleshooting, disassemble/replace/reassemble components, and test to ensure proper functionality.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems (including pumps and packaging/slicing equipment) to minimize downtime and keep production on track.
  • •Install and maintain equipment and utilities (mechanical equipment, piping, electrical controls), following LOCKOUT/TAGOUT and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED with 1+ years of related experience/training in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing maintenance, or 4 years of direct experience.
  • •Preferred: Vocational Diploma/Technical Diploma or an associate degree from a technical maintenance or vocational school.
  • •Ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with personnel and outside contractors.
  • •Ability to operate a forklift, genie lift, scissor lift, or other powered industrial trucks (PIT).
  • •Ability to read and follow oral and written instructions, read/execute work orders, write daily reports, and interpret equipment manuals.
