Key Responsibilities

  • •Promote a strong culture of health, safety, quality and sustainability, aligned with WSP’s guiding principles and the requirements of the DfE.
  • •Act as Project Manager and Employer’s Agent on DfE SRP projects, representing the client’s interests throughout the project lifecycle.
  • •Manage projects through RIBA Stages 2–6, from feasibility and design through to construction and handover.
  • •Coordinate multi‑disciplinary design teams, ensuring delivery aligns with project brief, programme, budget and statutory requirements.
  • •Lead client‑facing meetings, including KIT calls, feasibility reviews, gateway meetings and construction progress meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •Project management experience within the built environment.
  • •Experience within the education sector or on DfE projects (desirable).
  • •Confidence in a client-facing role, leading meetings and representing the client’s interests.
  • •Experience as an Employer’s Agent (advantageous).
  • •Working knowledge of JCT Design & Build contracts and their practical application.
