Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with researchers and developers on quantitative research projects including predictive signals and algorithm enhancement.
  • •Support alpha research by understanding the economics of a fundamental domain and insights from alternative data.
  • •Identify differentiating factors and design novel predictive signals.
  • •Backtest and validate hypotheses using datasets relevant to trading and prediction.
  • •Work with senior team members over the 10-week internship to learn best practices and contribute across facets of a quantitative trading business.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 175,000 - 220,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Current PhD student in a quantitative or technical field (statistics, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or computer science) with ideally one year left in your academic program.
  • •Excellent programming skills in languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, SQL, or R.
  • •Strong knowledge of probability and statistics, including machine learning, time-series analysis and forecasting, pattern recognition, and NLP.
  • •Ability to communicate research ideas clearly and succinctly.
  • •Creative problem-solving skills and experience working with real-world datasets, with strong attention to detail.
