Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for reliable operation of sitewide power generation infrastructure.
  • •Own end-to-end performance of power generation systems, including turbines, generators, balance-of-plant, fuel systems, and electrical interconnection.
  • •Lead procurement and construction activities for power generation equipment and infrastructure, including specifications, vendor/OEM selection, contract management, and delivery.
  • •Drive strategic planning and capital project execution to expand generation capacity, including design reviews, commissioning, and integration with site electrical distribution.
  • •Establish and continuously improve preventive/predictive/condition-based maintenance programs and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and SpaceX standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or another engineering discipline.
  • •8+ years of progressive experience in power generation engineering, operations, or construction in large industrial or utility facilities.
  • •4+ years of direct people leadership experience managing engineers, operators, and technicians in 24/7 operational environments.
  • •Hands-on experience with gas-fired turbines and associated power generation systems.
  • •Demonstrated ability to manage aggressive capital projects and achieve reliability targets in mission-critical environments.
