Key Responsibilities

  • •Use simulation tools to model the power stage of converters.
  • •Design and verify control algorithms in simulation and support real-world verification.
  • •Verify developed algorithms using HIL simulation systems.
  • •Follow the UTI-SYS work methodology and ensure quality, documentation, and deadline adherence.
  • •Write technical documentation and support firmware verification of implemented control and signal processing algorithms.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience with technical writing at an academic level.
  • •Academic experience modeling and designing controllers for applications such as solar inverters, wind power, energy storage, UPS, network quality, electric mobility, or electrical converters.
  • •Academic experience using power-converter modeling and simulation tools including Matlab/Simulink, Octave, PSIM, PLECS, and Simba.
  • •Experience with HIL simulation systems (e.g., Typhoon HIL or other HIL systems).
  • •Knowledge of dynamic modeling and control theory, plus the ability to define control diagrams from high-level specifications.
