Key Responsibilities

•Calculate Knock Bridge Loan advance amounts using internal calculations and guidelines.
•Accurately condition loan files based on the loan application and file documentation.
•Provide consistent internal communication regarding loan status and approval updates.
•Communicate effectively and professionally with external Lending Partners, Agents, and Borrowers.
•Review title reports and homeowners/flood insurance to ensure Knock’s lien position and security interest.
•Efficiently and effectively manage and process a daily pipeline of loans while maintaining company turn times.
•Understand and stay current with all company policies, procedures, industry regulations, and other changes impacting Knock and the broader industry.
•Continuously learn and grow while supporting the development of others; serve as a mentor and resource both within and beyond your team.
•Take on ad-hoc projects as they arise and proactively support the team wherever help is needed.

Key Requirements

•Successful experience working as a Senior Mortgage Loan Processor or Junior Underwriter, with a solid understanding of underwriting processes and lending systems.
•Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret and apply lending guidelines effectively.
•Excellent organizational skills to manage many competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment.
•Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; a natural over-communicator.
•Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
