Key Responsibilities

  • •Clarify requirements with stakeholders and determine business needs to support data and product features.
  • •Translate functional requirements into architecture designs and communicate patterns to Data Engineers.
  • •Implement extensible, maintainable code and participate in code reviews to uphold standards.
  • •Provide end-to-end ownership of data products and pipelines, including testing, documentation, and technical debt mitigation.
  • •Build automation and write queries for extracting and compiling raw data across pipelines, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and upgrades.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree (or alternative advanced degree/PhD experience options) in data engineering.
  • •Experience designing and implementing data pipelines and large-scale data processing jobs.
  • •Strong coding background with experience writing, modifying, and reviewing efficient, testable code.
  • •Experience building CI/CD pipelines and deploying applications using containerization and orchestration tools.
  • •Experience monitoring production systems and troubleshooting using observability tools, with secure coding and regulatory compliance.
