Job Summary

Operate a semi-truck to transfer trailers within the shipping/receiving area, working onsite in Marshall, MO. Perform pre/post trip safety checks, locate and attach trailers using a yard tractor, communicate with loaders (in person or via two-way radio), guide trailers to loading docks or storage, and complete routine maintenance and clean-up. Key Responsibilities

•Perform pre/post trip safety checks on the vehicle following DOT regulations.
•Locate, climb into, and operate the yard tractor to bring it to the loading dock area.
•Communicate with the loader (in person or by two-way radio) to identify the proper trailer.
•Attach/detach trailers, connect/release brake lines, and secure trailers at the correct locations.
•Conduct trailer inspections, red-tag for maintenance, check fluids, fuel the vehicle, and complete cab clean-up.
