Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as technical authority for AEMS projects, defining technical standards and validating solutions deployed by the delivery team.
  • •Produce solution designs that meet both operational requirements and technical excellence.
  • •Collaborate across the business (including network planning/regulation and smart grid operations) to ensure designs meet organizational standards.
  • •Support systems design activities, ensure compliance with group standards, and assist with business case development for system development or refresh initiatives.
  • •Oversee service delivery with suppliers, provide technical assistance during project delivery, and evaluate and recommend new system solutions and technologies.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in electrical, electronic, or telecommunication engineering, or equivalent experience (HND/HNC with at least five years post-training experience).
  • •In-depth experience with Smart Grid applications or real-time control system development.
  • •Working knowledge of Smart Grid Electrical Control Systems and ADMS or SCADA technologies, or Power Systems Engineering.
  • •Proven ability to design and deliver solutions balancing technical and commercial considerations.
  • •Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
