Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute the point mapping process per the Standard Operating Procedure, including Dummy Mapping Graphics Only and Referencing Points with Database phases.
  • •Initialize projects in the Workfront system by reviewing documentation and entering necessary project details.
  • •Create and set up dummy mapping graphics from available imagery with correct alignment and labeling.
  • •Integrate and reference points using the received database; validate mapped points against project requirements and client specifications.
  • •Perform quality checks, track progress in Workfront, document issues and decisions, and mark projects complete with up-to-date documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical study in Controls System/Automation or related field (entry-level with basic experience in controls field is acceptable).
  • •Minimum of 2 years of experience in point mapping or a related field.
  • •Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and Trane Software tools.
  • •Experience integrating databases and using graphical mapping tools.
  • •Ability to read, analyze, and interpret plans, specifications, control drawings, and other project documents; draft reports and business correspondence.
