•Define and own Okta’s Cloud Platform architecture, including reference architectures, design standards, and guardrails for secure, reliable workloads.
•Lead Kubernetes and EKS architecture, including cluster strategy, multi-tenancy, networking topology, and security posture for AI agent workloads and business deployments.
•Elevate the AI platform by partnering to evolve agent and model-serving infrastructure into a production-grade, scalable platform.
•Drive multi-cloud strategy by building evaluation frameworks for when and how to use AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud to optimize performance, cost, and capability.
•Partner cross-functionally to align cloud infrastructure decisions with product, compliance, and operational requirements, including FedRAMP environments and air-gapped/self-hosted adaptations.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of hands-on cloud infrastructure experience across one or more major providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure), including compute, networking, storage, IAM, and managed services at enterprise scale.
•Proven experience designing and operating Kubernetes and EKS at scale, including cluster architecture, multi-tenancy patterns, networking, security hardening, and day-2 operations.
•Experience architecting infrastructure for AI and machine learning workloads, including GPU compute, model serving, and related security/access patterns.
•Strong cloud security background, including IAM design, network segmentation, secrets management, policy-as-code, and experience with SOC 2 and FedRAMP (or equivalent).
•Infrastructure-as-code fluency with Terraform, AWS CDK, or equivalent, plus the ability to influence architectural alignment across engineering, security, product, and business stakeholders.
