Job Summary

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair refrigeration and related equipment to keep plant operations running safely. Read pressure, temperature, vacuum, and level indicators across steam, air, water, and refrigeration processes; make corrections or escalate issues as needed. Perform daily facility troubleshooting involving pneumatics, steam, water, electricity, general mechanics, and some welding, while adhering to Tyson safety and food safety expectations.

Key Responsibilities

•Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment.
•Perform refrigeration department functions, including reading pressure, temperature, vacuum, and level indicators for plant processes.
•Troubleshoot equipment and processes used in day-to-day facility operations.
•Work with pneumatics, steam, water, electricity, and general mechanics, including some welding.
•Support safety responsibilities, including personal and food safety, and complete other assigned duties.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 32.3 hourly

Key Requirements

•6 months of mechanical, electrical, welding, plumbing, refrigeration boiler, or HVAC work experience (or equivalent maintenance work/education experience).
•Available to work all shifts, including weekends, and available for overtime.
•Communicate effectively with employees and management and read manuals to repair equipment safely.
•Legibly write and transfer meter numbers correctly.
•Work independently with minimum supervision and be able to work in hot and cold environments.
