Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop ECAD activity aligned to project requirements and timelines.
  • •Review PCBA design input requirements and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and progress ECAD design.
  • •Define PCB stack-up and layer setup, execute PCB layout, and update layouts based on electrical design changes.
  • •Implement design-for constraints and principles (DFM/DFA/DFT) covering thermal, mechanical, and EMC needs, including signal integrity considerations.
  • •Generate and review ECAD deliverables (Gerber, BOM, fabrication/assembly drawings), ensure error-free releases, and support industrialization through supplier feedback and IVVQ integration/testing activities.

Key Requirements

  • •5 to 10 years of industry experience in PCB/CCA design and ECAD activity estimation and scheduling.
  • •Strong understanding of PCB/CCA design inputs, including mixed-signal (analog/digital) and RF board design requirements.
  • •Hands-on experience generating PCB layout and ECAD deliverables using tools such as Cadence Allegro (Concept HDL Entry and Allegro PCB layout) and OrCAD Capture CIS.
  • •Working knowledge of DFx concepts and implementation (DFM, DFA, DFT), plus design constraints for thermal, mechanical, and EMC.
  • •Ability to generate and manage PCB/CCA data packages for fabrication and assembly (Gerber, BOM/item list, fabrication/assembly drawings) and apply relevant industry and regulatory standards (e.g., IPC-610, CE/UL, ROHS/WEEE/REACH).
