Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop acquisition documentation and funding packages supporting DoD technology initiatives, requirements, modifications, and procurement actions.
  • •Prepare Independent Government Estimates (IGEs/IGCEs) using market research, historical pricing, labor analyses, and technical requirements.
  • •Develop Justifications and Approvals (J&As) and Limited Sources Justifications (LSJs) for sole-source and other acquisition strategies.
  • •Prepare and coordinate submission of procurement request packages and acquisition planning documentation, including support across O&M, Procurement, RDT&E, and other funding sources.
  • •Track acquisition packages through contract award, ensuring documentation completeness, technical accuracy, and compliance with FAR, DFARS, DoD policies, and agency guidance.

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business Administration, Acquisition Management, Finance, Public Administration, Engineering) or equivalent experience.
  • •Minimum 10 years supporting Department of Defense acquisition and program management organizations.
  • •Extensive experience developing Independent Government Estimates (IGEs/IGCEs) and acquisition strategy documentation.
  • •Extensive experience writing Justifications and Approvals (J&As), Limited Sources Justifications (LSJs), and Determinations and Findings (D&Fs).
  • •Active DoD Secret clearance required.
