Job Summary

Lead the development and continuous improvement of health, safety, and product compliance processes across the Water, Industrial Flow and Heat Transfer Technologies business unit. Drive compliance strategies to support new product development, product changes, and entry into new markets, including managing certifications and technical documentation such as CE marking, ATEX, and IECEx. Perform gap analyses, risk assessments, audits, and monitor regulatory updates while partnering with R&D, Engineering, Service, and external bodies.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Health & Safety processes across the business unit.
•Drive product compliance activities to ensure products meet applicable regulatory and market requirements throughout their lifecycle.
•Develop and implement compliance strategies for new product development, product changes, and entry into new markets.
•Manage certifications, declarations, and technical documentation (e.g., CE marking, ATEX, IECEx) in collaboration with R&D, Product Management, and Engineering.
•Conduct compliance gap analyses, risk assessments, and internal audits, and develop mitigation plans when required.

Key Requirements

•A degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related technical discipline, preferably with a specialization in Health & Safety.
•Proven experience in Health & Safety, Product Compliance, or a similar engineering discipline in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
•Understanding of global product compliance and machinery safety regulations, including CE marking, Machinery Directive/Regulation, ATEX, Low Voltage Directive, RoHS, and REACH.
•Experience conducting risk assessments and implementing Health & Safety and compliance processes to support safe operations and regulatory compliance.
•Knowledge of international standards such as ISO and IEC is considered an advantage, along with experience managing technical documentation and working with external certification bodies.
