Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, own, and iterate RL and ML models running in production for high-traffic conversion and communication flows.
  • •Develop decisioning logic that selects the best next action for each user across the funnel and messaging lifecycle.
  • •Evolve contextual-bandit systems from online exploration to offline policy evaluation and deterministic, low-latency inference.
  • •Partner with Engineering on system design for integration into funnel/messaging architecture, including decision serving and rollback handling.
  • •Own experimentation design for decisioning models, defining success metrics and guardrails and interpreting results in noisy, high-traffic environments.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of professional experience in data science, ML, or a related quantitative field, with a track record of shipping models to production.
  • •Proficient in Python and experienced operating in a modern ML stack (e.g. Databricks/Spark, MLflow) in close collaboration with engineers.
  • •Direct experience with reinforcement learning and/or contextual bandits (e.g. Thompson Sampling, epsilon-greedy, reward design).
  • •Strong foundation in experimentation and causal inference for designing and analyzing controlled experiments in high-traffic settings.
  • •Hands-on with classical ML techniques (regression, classification, clustering, recommendation systems) and working with customer-behaviour data, segmentation, and production feature pipelines.
