Job Summary

Support Fiserv’s APAC data centre operations in Sydney by installing and maintaining IT hardware and structured cabling, performing copper and fibre cabling, and keeping documentation and DCIM updates current. Help run daily facilities operations with vendor coordination, assist with DR and UPS/black-building tests, and support infrastructure upgrades. Maintain compliant, safe data-centre environments, provide first-line hardware support, and produce weekly/monthly capacity and utilisation reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Install, relocate, and maintain IT hardware and structured cabling.
•Perform copper and fibre cabling, labeling, documentation, and DCIM updates.
•Support daily operations, vendor management, and facility access.
•Assist with DR tests, UPS/black-building tests, and infrastructure upgrades.
•Provide first-line hardware support and coordinate vendor repairs, and deliver utilisation/capacity reporting.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Experience in data-centre operations or mission-critical environments.
•Strong structured-cabling skills (Cat5e/Cat6, OM3/OM4/OS2).
•Ability to read network diagrams and rack elevations.
•Confident communicator with excellent written English.
•Comfortable working at heights and lifting 20–25 kg.
