Job Summary

Oversee the company’s legal affairs and compliance functions, partnering closely with the Chief Legal Officer to ensure legal and compliance efforts align with business goals. Lead and manage the Legal Affairs & Compliance Division, advise internal stakeholders across regions on legal, compliance, regulatory, and risk issues, and manage the compliance program, litigation support, and outside counsel when needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan, organize, and manage legal staff work and administer the Legal Affairs & Compliance Division’s activities.
•Advise internal clients on legal, compliance, and regulatory matters, including dispute resolution, risk management, contracts, corporate governance, and compliance.
•Provide strategic direction on compliance, oversee and monitor implementation of the compliance program, and prepare reports as appropriate.
•Represent the company in litigation before courts and administrative tribunals; retain outside counsel when necessary and manage litigation progress.
•Manage risk management and training programs, support continuous improvement initiatives, and investigate suspected major misconduct.

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree in Law.
•Fluency in Arabic and English (read, write, and speak).
•Proactive, able to prioritize and work under tight deadlines in a service-oriented manner.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong editing and document preparation ability.
•Comfortable making legal decisions and advising on business risks.
