Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and validate safety, mission success, and airworthiness, supporting incorporation into designs, operations, and procedures.
  • •Support internal software certification processes.
  • •Perform hazard tracking and risk resolution using SSHA, SAR, and SCFTA.
  • •Conduct safety assessments and technical safety memos, including Engineering Review Boards and Safety Review Board, and address/track aircraft safety concerns.
  • •Analyze software to identify failure conditions and investigate reported in-service fleet hazards, risks, and safety concerns while demonstrating risk mitigation to customers and regulators.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent non-US qualification related to the work.
  • •Active US Secret Clearance or ability to obtain a US Secret Clearance.
  • •Level 3: 5+ years of related work experience.
  • •Experience briefing and collaborating with stakeholders including management, program offices, and military personnel.
  • •Experience in a role requiring analytical skills to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large datasets, plus 2+ years as a software or safety engineer.
