Job Summary

Contribute to the production team in an auto salvage yard by safely handling vehicles to create core and scrap products. Enable customers to pull parts while following environmental requirements and maintaining compliance with company policies. Perform hands-on tasks such as removing fluids and components, dismantling engines and transmissions, operating equipment like a tire machine, and keeping work areas safe and clean.

Key Responsibilities

•Work safely and promote the Pick-n-Pull Safety Culture, using assigned PPE and collaborating on safety.
•Remove materials and fluids safely (e.g., Freon, power steering fluid, batteries, waste oil, coolant, catalytic converters) per prescribed procedures.
•Position vehicles on wheel stands to provide customers safe access to sellable parts, restore areas, and prepare for the next vehicle set.
•Dismantle engines and transmissions, harvest cores/materials, sort commodities, and operate the tire machine to prepare tires and rims for shipment.
•Assist customers professionally and complete shipment, regulatory, tracking logs, and stormwater control device maintenance.

•Prior experience in automotive repair, vehicle dismantling, or operating tools and machinery (preferred).
