Job Summary

Support the maintenance of traffic signs, road markings, and public road furniture by inspecting assets (scheduled and unscheduled), documenting findings, and escalating defects and hazards. Ensure compliance with approved drawings, material specifications, and safety protocols while coordinating with contractors and responding to urgent damage reports. Perform QA on completed works, maintain inspection records, and contribute technical reports and suggestions for safety, efficiency, and resilience improvements.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the development and implementation of maintenance protocols aligned with RTA safety standards and international regulations.
•Conduct inspections of section assets, document findings, escalate hazards/defects, and improve maintenance quality.
•Verify compliance with drawings, material specifications, and design standards; escalate defects and service requests for resolution.
•Coordinate with contractors and verify maintenance/repair activities, including materials and adherence to safety protocols.
•Respond to urgent/emergency damage reports and maintain 24/7 on-call availability for the Emergency Team.

Key Requirements

•Technical/Engineering Diploma with 0–1 year of related experience, or Industrial High School with 2+ years of related experience.
•Conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections of traffic signs and road marking assets and document findings.
•Verify compliance of work activities with approved drawings, material specifications, and design standards.
•Coordinate with contractors to schedule/monitor maintenance and verify completion, material availability, and safety adherence.
•Maintain health and safety compliance and support emergency response availability as part of the RTA Emergency Team.
