Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist senior field engineers in troubleshooting wired network issues following established procedures.
  • •Support installation of equipment and infrastructure for the BIM contract, including basic installation and guided upgrades.
  • •Help perform end-to-end fiber optic testing using OTDRs and power meters, and document findings.
  • •Maintain and update network documentation and as-built records based on splicing and testing results.
  • •Coordinate with teams and Government POCs for site access, equipment readiness, scheduling, and basic stakeholder communications.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of related experience or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • •Secret-level security clearance (must currently possess).
  • •Experience with distribution systems (ISP/OSP) design and implementation documents such as as-built diagrams, rack elevations, and circuit connectivity matrices.
  • •Hands-on familiarity with fiber testing, including the ability to support end-to-end testing using OTDRs and power meters.
  • •Ability to work effectively in a virtual teaming environment and interpret technical procedures, documents, and governmental regulations.
