Key Responsibilities

  • •Define system architecture, interfaces, performance budgets, and verification strategies for precision semiconductor equipment.
  • •Design and integrate precision motion systems, substrate handling modules, tooling/fixtures, and gas delivery subsystems.
  • •Perform thermal, structural, flow, tolerance stack-up, and FEA-based analyses to validate designs and establish verification/acceptance criteria.
  • •Lead characterization, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions for system-level mechanical issues.
  • •Partner with cross-functional teams and suppliers, lead technical reviews/trade-offs/risk assessments, and mentor engineers across the platform.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • •8–12+ years of experience developing semiconductor or precision capital equipment.
  • •Experience delivering system-level mechanical solutions from concept through production.
  • •Proven system verification and requirements/interface management (including precision motion, alignment, structural dynamics/vibration, and thermal stability).
  • •Advanced proficiency with UG NX and Teamcenter, plus capability to perform thermal/structural/tolerance stack-up/FEA-based analyses.
