Key Responsibilities

  • •Onboard and integrate log sources into the SIEM, partnering with platform and data owners to scope and operationalize new telemetry from discovery through production parsing/normalization/validation.
  • •Design and implement security data pipelines that collect, transform, enrich, and route security telemetry at scale, making decisions on topology, buffering, and delivery guarantees.
  • •Transform and enrich data in-flight (filter noise, normalize schemas, enrich with asset metadata/threat intel/identity) and route logs to the correct destinations (SIEM and data lake).
  • •Manage infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD: use Terraform across multiple Azure AD tenants/subscriptions and build pipelines to deploy infrastructure, configurations, and data onboarding via version-controlled git workflows.
  • •Implement reliability and observability for data pipelines (monitor ingestion disruptions, latency, volume anomalies, parsing failures, and data quality issues) and participate in on-call rotation.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years in cybersecurity, SRE, data engineering, or a related field, with at least 2 years focused on security data pipelines or SIEM platform engineering.
  • •Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Terraform for managing cloud resources across multiple Azure tenants/subscriptions, including reusable modules and handling drift.
  • •Hands-on experience onboarding log sources into a SIEM (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, Elastic), including configuring connectors/agents and validating parsers in production.
  • •Experience designing and operating security data pipelines, including ingestion, buffering, transformation, routing, and storage decisions.
  • •Strong development and automation ability in Python (preferred) or Go, plus DevOps fundamentals (git-based PR workflows, CI/CD, automated testing/deployments).
