Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a trusted advisor to HR and business stakeholders to inform employment strategy and build policies and practices in France and across EMEA.
  • •Advise on employment relationship legal issues including recruitment, global mobility, workplace investigations, terminations, and disputes.
  • •Partner with Labour Relations on collective matters in France, including works council and trade union matters.
  • •Collaborate with Global Legal counsel to provide consolidated strategic advice for regional and global initiatives.
  • •Develop and draft employment law policies, agreements, and business procedures; prepare and deliver internal training on employment legal matters.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant employment law experience from private practice and/or an international in-house legal department.
  • •Ability to navigate cross-border employment law issues, including collective employment rights.
  • •Comfort advising on GDPR and collaborating with data privacy counsel.
  • •Strong judgment, personal integrity, and interpersonal skills.
  • •Excellent communication and exceptional legal writing, with ability to prioritize a varied workload.
