Lead Dyson's Tooling and Molding Operations for NPI and sustaining projects, overseeing tool design, mold development, and vendor management to deliver high-quality injection tooling. Job Function: Industrial, Process & Manufacturing Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Lead tooling and molding operations, delivering NPI and sustaining project tooling and molding deliverables with localization development
•Coordinate with RDD, Quality, Manufacturing, and external mold makers to ensure tooling design, validation, and on-time delivery
•Oversee tool design activities, mold process development, CAD modification, and mold flow analysis from prototype to full production
•Review vendor recommendations and approve tool DFM/GA drawings, tool size, cavity, cycle time, and cost estimates
•Manage projects using advanced PM tools, track budgets, and maintain Dyson tooling assets and maintenance schedules

Key Requirements

•10-15 years of working experience in Tool Design/ Machining / Injection tooling and moulding field
•Strong knowledge of 3D CAD (interpretation of CAD files and 2D drawings) and mold design
•Proven leadership as a molding lead within a cross-functional group with responsibility for project results
•Experience applying Design for Mold-ability, Assembly & Scale-ability (DFM/DFA) and selecting materials suitable for molding
•Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Chinese; proactive, with strong problem-solving skills
