Job Summary

Design and build enterprise-grade, massively scalable storage platforms for the Dell AI Platform, including multi-petabyte S3 object storage and a scale-out NAS system. Lead architecture and implementation across the full software development lifecycle (development, test, continuous delivery, maintenance). Create technical designs and documentation, run discovery and proof-of-concepts for modern networking solutions, and coach junior engineers while ensuring quality and security.

•Contribute to the development and architecture of modern storage platforms and deliver across the full software development lifecycle (development, test, continuous delivery, maintenance).
•Create detailed technical designs for new features and improvements and maintain comprehensive documentation.
•Work on discovery tasks and proof of concepts for modern networking solutions.
•Implement company standards and practices to ensure quality and security.
•Coach and mentor more junior team members.

Key Requirements

•Exceptional programming skills with 8+ years of related experience.
•Strong skills in C and/or Python, with willingness to learn across the stack.
•Excellent understanding of modern Linux, including the kernel, drivers, containers, early boot, and other low-level technologies.
•Analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
•Self-driven and detail-oriented, able to work independently and take ownership from design through implementation.
