Job Summary

On-site role supporting OMNY deployment and legacy fare systems in NYC subway stations. You will oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of OMNY readers, fare gates, and TVMs, work with NYCT to ensure service continuity, and maintain installation logs and compliance while performing mechanical/electrical troubleshooting in active transit environments.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee, monitor and report on the installation and commissioning of OMNY contactless fare payment devices, fare gates/turnstiles, and TVMs
•Assist in ensuring reliable performance testing of contactless and open-payment systems
•Work on-site within active subway station environments
•Coordinate with NYCT personnel to maintain service continuity and minimize customer disruption
•Assist in granting access to station infrastructure and maintain installation logs and field records

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 59,500 - 80,000 annually

Key Requirements

•High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
•Minimum 3+ years proven experience working in MTA New York City Transit (NYCT) stations
•Hands-on experience with fare gates / turnstiles

•Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
