Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement and enforce the site-specific Safety Plan in accordance with OSHA, EM 385-1-1, and Army regulations.
  • •Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards related to material handling, equipment movement, and personnel operations.
  • •Conduct safety orientations and recurring training, including PPE use, forklift/equipment operation, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and incident reporting.
  • •Lead investigations of accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and maintain incident logs and OSHA reporting documentation.
  • •Perform safety audits and job hazard analyses (JHAs), track safety KPIs, and support government inspections and corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
  • •3+ years of safety experience on government, military, or industrial logistics sites.
  • •Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910, EM 385-1-1, DA PAM 385-10, and Army site safety practices.
  • •Must have a valid driver’s license with proof of vehicle insurance.
  • •Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC), receive a favorable background check and drug testing results, and obtain Tier1/NACI (Public trust) background eligibility.
