Key Responsibilities

  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues to determine root cause and corrective action.
  • •Perform maintenance and repairs on complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment and tools.
  • •Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment and follow OSHA requirements (preferred).
  • •Maintain complete and timely electronic documentation/work orders and ensure paperwork is kept daily.
  • •Assist in training lower-level technicians and, when required, travel to customer job sites for repairs/maintenance while maintaining the service vehicle.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
  • •Superior customer service and teamwork, with verbal and written communication skills.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred, plus preferred experience in field service, maintenance, and repair.
  • •Valid driver’s license with acceptable record and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; safety-sensitive role includes passing a 10-panel drug screen.
