Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students, personalizing instruction to mastery levels.
  • •Augment course content using prescribed policies and procedures under guidance from the principal and coach.
  • •Maintain gradebooks, make placement/promotion decisions, and alert administrators to student performance and progress concerns.
  • •Prepare students for high-stakes standardized tests.
  • •Establish and maintain positive rapport with families, regularly communicate with students and learning coaches/parents, and support troubleshooting in a virtual classroom environment.

Salary: USD 44,000 - 46,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree and an active state teaching license (Elementary, Grades K-6).
  • •Ability to clear required background check.
  • •If teaching certification is from another state, obtain West Virginia reciprocity within 60 days of employment.
  • •Ability to work independently for 40+ hours per week from a professional home office during the workday.
  • •Experience supporting adults and children in the use of technology and experience teaching online and/or in a brick-and-mortar environment (desired qualification).
