Key Responsibilities

  • •Be based in Hong Kong as part of HSBC’s APAC sector investment banking team, advising corporates and financial sponsors on strategic and financing transactions.
  • •Assist senior bankers in the origination and execution of transactions across M&A, ECM, and financing solutions.
  • •Engage with clients at various levels of management as part of sector client coverage.
  • •Lead sector inputs in client presentations and deal executions, building financial projections and valuation models.
  • •Foster a professional, performance-driven culture by supporting knowledge transfer and acting as a role model for junior team members.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 3 years’ experience in investment banking / M&A.
  • •Strong financial modelling skills and valuation knowledge.
  • •Demonstrable experience working well within an international team as a strategic thinker.
  • •Proven deal execution experience across domestic and cross border M&A and strategic capital raisings.
  • •Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
