Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion circuitry (non-isolated and isolated converters) for board-mounted power end use applications.
  • •Architect the power system at the system level and guide large teams through design phases from requirements through integration testing.
  • •Lead layout, routing, and stack-up decisions; define layer stackups and creepage/clearance guidelines, and mentor junior engineers and ECAD drafters.
  • •Manage schedules and budgets for power electronics projects, driving technical execution and growth of the organization.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mature power electronics architectures and ensure reliability and performance.

Key Requirements

  • •Requires a Bachelor’s in STEM and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced STEM degree with at least 5 years of experience.
  • •Design, analysis, testing, and/or simulation experience with linear converters (buck, boost, buck-boost) and at least one isolated topology (flyback, half-bridge, full-bridge, forward, push-pull, resonant).
  • •Experience with MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica or similar tools; EMI filter design and transformer/inductor design.
  • •Experience creating electrical design specifications and leading large teams with schedule and budget management.
