Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and improve buildings and external works across RAF Croughton and Barford St Johns.
  • •Ensure facilities are safe, functional, and maintained to a high standard for operational teams and Defence personnel.
  • •Carry out fabric maintenance and repair tasks including basic carpentry, repairs to doors/floors/ceilings, painting touch-ups, and making good.
  • •Complete minor plumbing checks and repairs on sinks and taps, plus fence repairs and support minor civil works when required.
  • •Represent VIVO on site, liaise with other trades, and support continuous improvements and innovation.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven background in fabric maintenance or building repairs with strong understanding of building fabric works.
  • •Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for a client-facing, on-site role.

  • •Be able to pass SC Clearance; PASMA and IPAF certifications are advantageous but not essential.
