Job Summary

Drive CarMax vehicles safely between stores, auctions, vendors, and logistics hubs to keep inventory flowing and customers satisfied. Load and secure vehicles, operate equipment with a focus on safety and cleanliness, and complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Maintain accurate DOT logs and documentation while representing CarMax professionally and following all federal and company safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely load, secure, transport, and offload CarMax vehicles between stores, auctions, vendors, and logistics hubs.
•Ensure timely and accurate vehicle delivery to maintain inventory flow and customer satisfaction.
•Operate equipment with safety, efficiency, and cleanliness; maintain a well-kept truck and trailer.
•Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT and CarMax standards.
•Maintain accurate and compliant DOT logs and documentation while following safety regulations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 23.8 - 40.5 hourly

Key Requirements

•Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) issued by the state.
•2+ years of Class A CDL driving experience.
•Ability to meet DOT & FMCSA qualification requirements.
•Ability to lift heavy objects and operate winches during loading.
•Proficiency operating a 10-speed transmission and willingness to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
