Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare cartons/trays for product packing by folding, taping, sorting, and labeling; secure carton ends and place cartons/trays on the work area.
  • •Perform visual inspections of final product packaging for integrity (including seals, code dates, and pricing), removing out-of-spec items and communicating issues.
  • •Pack products into cases/cartons/displays per packaging specs, applying corresponding labels and appropriate tapes/seals when applicable.
  • •Stack cartons/trays on pallets/skids using correct stacking patterns; use pallet jack when needed for finished goods up to 300 lbs.
  • •Maintain safety and hygiene by clearing loose product, discarding defective packaging, keeping the work area clean and following 5S protocols; perform sanitation and assist with line startup/changeovers as needed.
