Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform ammunition receipt, storage, inventory, accountability, issue, maintenance, stock control, turn-in, and pre-/post-shipment procedures at the ASP.
  • •Load/unload, stack, and store ammunition (including rockets) at the ASP; forklift palletized loads.
  • •Review unit paperwork for accuracy and compliance with existing regulations and conduct safety inspections of vehicles entering the ASP.
  • •Escort unit personnel, identify ammunition/pyrotechnics by type, lot, and location, and issue items to unit personnel.
  • •Assist with outbound shipment preparation and quarterly closed inventories, including 100% screening of turn-in items to prevent live ammunition from being transported to DRMO.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate or equivalent.
  • •Potential to become ammunition certified within 24 months of assignment.
  • •Knowledge of receiving, inspection, and storage procedures as outlined in DA PAM 385-64, FM 9-13, and DA PAM 710-2-2.
  • •Working knowledge of applicable ARs, TMs, PAMs, DoD, FORSCOM and TRADOC regulations.
  • •Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background screening, receive a favorable TIER-1 investigation, obtain and maintain a CAC, and hold a REAL ID-compliant state-issued driver’s license.
