Key Responsibilities

  • •Install telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction equipment, heavy equipment, and customer assets.
  • •Test installations by operating machinery when needed.
  • •Remove and replace ignition systems (without custom keypad/controller) and integrate keypad and telematics communications.
  • •Handle a range of wiring scenarios, including complex harness work when accessing CAN networks.
  • •Troubleshoot and resolve issues, traveling to client sites and other rental yards through the region for installation cases.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent (trade school certificate preferred).
  • •Mechanical aptitude and strong hands-on skills with tools.
  • •Experience in a related field (e.g., electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer) and/or willingness to be trained in telematics.
  • •Own tools (some specialty tools will be provided).
  • •Ability to travel within a 250-mile radius for up to a week at a time, drive safely, and pass a background check and a 10-panel drug screen.
