Key Responsibilities

  • •Follow safe operating practices while traveling to and performing work at customer locations (most work performed outside).
  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs for light/medium vehicles in the field.
  • •Diagnose and repair electrical/brake/cooling systems, starters/alternators, engine electronics, transmissions, and other listed mechanical/equipment issues.
  • •Use test instruments (e.g., scanners, pressure gauges) and sound judgment to identify problems and determine appropriate parts and repairs.
  • •Complete repair orders and DOT forms, upload required documentation/photos, and maintain tools, equipment, and the assigned service vehicle.

Key Requirements

  • •1+ year of experience as an Automotive Technician on light/medium vehicle repair or an equivalent combination of education/certifications/skills/experience.
  • •2 years of equivalent experience in a similar technician role.
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to safely drive.
  • •Supply a set of required hand tools to perform job duties.
  • •Participate in and complete required company training.
